Metallic coatings have low peak reflectance as well as low mechanical durability and damage threshold,but they have extremely broadband reflectivity from near-ultraviolet to far-infrared wavelength,and are insensitive to polarization and the incident angle.These coatings are deposited on a layer of dielectric coating and covered by a layer of dielectric coatings to prevent the metallic films from oxidization.
Precision Optical Flat Mirrors
These mirrors are of the same quality as our precision optical flats.Before coatings,the primary surface is precision ground and polished to the stated accuracy and certified by Digital Phase-Shifing interferometer.The secondary surface is commercial polished.
